ioBridge Map
« on: February 24, 2009, 03:44:18 PM »
I spent a little time putting together a map of the "ioBridge Network" this morning.  It's interesting to see how much of the Earth is spanned by ioBridge gear!

Nice work Jason. I can see my flag too. In a few years time, you won't be able to see the map for all the flags you'll have dotted across the globe ;-)

There are more modules out there than points on that map.  I only put one flag on each town with a module.

Word or mouth has been working out for us:  One person gets an ioBridge module in a particular town or city...  they set it up and show some friends, then we get a few more orders from that same place.

Another thing that I find amazing is that you guys did this in about, what, 5 months?

So there's a network of intelligently-made hardware modules -- all able to manipulate the physical world from the world-wide web -- quickly spanning the globe.

Curious that you mention Skynet in your front webpage.  Heh.  Sarah might be looking for you soon...

I am more surprised by some of the distant locations on the map, who would have expected them in southern Asia, the Middle East, South Africa or such already!
