After seeing the IO Bridge in action, I decided to make a True Internet Dog Feeder of my own. Not a treat dispenser, but an actual dog feeder!
Feeder 1.0 Pics:

The mechanism is connected like this:

The Opening/closing mechanism used was a CD attached to a servo. I used a Dremel to cut a hole on one side of the CD and the top off of the water bottle. I shaved the inside lip of the water bottle's lid to offset each side's circumferences. The CD rotates aligning the hole with the PVC pipe allowing food to pour down from the reservior into the bowl for the awaiting dogs.
Hendrix (aka Hen man, hennie hen, henedocious and hennie monster)

I used a five gallon water bottle as the reservior to ensure that most if not all of the food was used (much more efficient than the previous set up and easier on the eyes). I also, affixed the IO Bridge so that the digital displays and components were visible from the front of the feeder. I have incorporated a webcam to view the bowl's contents and monitor the feeding activities of my DAWGS. More to come.......
Here are some new pics of the 2.0 construction:
