I thought I'd share a few of the books that helped me get my start in hacking.
Robot Builder's Bonanza
The Art of Electronics
Getting Started in Electronics
and this really isn't a book, but it's a good place to start
Electronic Lab
If there are any resources that you've had success with, please post them.
