I can't really tell what kind of interface the ECM monitors have.  They don't mention it in their manual. Although, they sell USB-serial adapters to "get the info in your computer".  That would lead me to believe it is a serial connection.  I see a mention of 19200 baud in the manual as well.

If it's serial, then the the Serial Smart Board may be able to read the data.  But it's hard to know without actually having one in front of me.

Any news on the power monitor?

On reading the forrums i came across your (jason) suggestion of using a 5vDC powerpack to on ON/OFF state - great, just what i need (and will be wiring it up tonight).

But I'd like to log the actual voltage, say every 10 seconds - and graph it.

Where i live our town mains power supply fluctuates wildly (hence i run all my tech on UPS's), and i'd like to monitor the fluctuations in supply (the domestic mains power supply in Australia is 240V AC, 50Hz).

Any suggestions?
