counter/frequency module
« on: June 19, 2009, 10:40:19 AM »
hi while reading some of the old topics i found ref. to a counter/frequency module has it become a reality yet? as i have the need for datalogging a pulse count from a water meter but with poor connections logging this remotely is not an option.

Sorry, the counter board never made it out of the prototyping phase.  It's not that we've completely abandon the idea...  we're trying to figure out a better way of data acquisition  in times when an internet connection goes down.  The feature would benefit you.

I am interested in this as well for our company test lab. We manufacture door locks and have equipment to "cycle test" the locks. We are looking to graph "cycles per hour" from an analog signal output from the PLC controller.

We'll be purchasing multiples once you have this!

Thanks,
Andy

Not sure about an analog output.  If it were a digital output, you could probably count pulses using the data logging feature.
