New Project Started Tonight *UPDATED*
« on: July 07, 2009, 07:32:19 PM »
This is just a teaser. This is nothing fancy but, I think it will do what I want. Hopefully It will be done in the next day or two.

Tonight I mounted the hardware and made it so both units are running of the same power supply.

The building I live in has a security door/intercom system. I thought it may be easier to hit a button on my iPhone to open the door instead of using a key. I wired both the i/oBridge and wireless bridge to run off the same power supply. Then mounted everything to a temporary board. For now I am using a servo to hit the button that activates the door, in the future I may wire a Relay Board (FB-3) directly to the switch.

Everything actually worked the first time. I have noticed that the servo will stay in position B every so often. I'll tinker with the code some and try to fix that.

Video to follow later.
