Humidity with HIH4000
« on: September 07, 2009, 09:03:32 AM »
I've wired the above onto an anologue pin, GND, +5v.  The value I'me geeting is ~25% when I'm expecting ~55%

Is the built in humididy value for widgets calibrated for a different device?  (I took the model and make from the http://www.iobridge.net/wiki/quick-start-guide page).

Do I need extra electronics to give the device a -5v?  i noticed the spec sheets says -ve, signal and +ve.  I have gnd, signal and +5v

Any tips appreciated!

I was just being impatient :)

Sensor has come up to within 10% of the existing shop bought sensor, which is close enough.

You got it - the built in humidity scale option is designed around the HIH4000.
