Website Down?
« on: September 16, 2009, 12:36:13 PM »
Hey Guys,

I have a red siren light hooked up to an X10 module under my desk at work. I've rigged this up to go off when there's a major network issue (switch down, etc) and it stopped working today. Upon trying to log into the iobridge.com website to check my widget I got a timeout. The .net server seems to be working, but the .com is not. I've loaded it via two proxies as well and got the same results.

Anybody else having issues accessing the .com site?

Yes, there was an outage. It was not software related, but our Cisco firewall decided to close all ports into the server blocking the website.

Module data was still logged during the outage, so no data should have been lost. It just affected the website.

Happy hacking (again)!

Yeah, I noticed I could ping it but it would timeout when I tried the site......it happens. Makes you feel any better, I made a slight goof and took down about 40 servers on our network today.  :o

Thanks for the reply!
