ioBridge Single Sign On...
« on: September 20, 2009, 02:24:58 AM »
I think it would be a nice feature to have one universal login for all iobridge sites.. so that the forum/wiki/blog and programming interface could all be able to use the same login info.

i know thier is a sso bridge between smf and wordpress, so that would be a start... a sso bridge for the programming interface and the forums would be nice (and a bit of work)

It's a good idea, but we will probably have multiple sign on's for the forum and the Interface for a little while longer. The blog and forum would be easier to connect, maybe one day when I have some time I will look at it.

Sure... another note for this... might work better, is to connect everything via openid.

it appears that there is a plugin for wordpress, smf and dokuwiki. Then the only real coding work to do would be to make the programming interface openid complaint, and possibly having it become an openid register.
