I'm just curious, what really differentiates this from a regular webpage programmed with ioBridge widgets/actions + static webcam pic? Just the ease of use?

you dont need to host a webpage someplace?  so simpler to setup for most users.
native app rather than going via browser?
oh and the web cams are live video streams with basic authentication stored on the phone, so you don't need to log into each camera each time to access them.

But yes, most of this can be done with a hosted web page, but for me the native app has an extra coolness factor when I demo... being able to turn lights on and off at 2000km and see the effect via the webcam always creates a wow! Smiley

Hopefully soon I'll have some more functionality ready that's not quite as simpe.
I'm just waiting to see if I need to support some new tablet device next week Smiley

Hello I have downloaded HomeWatch ($$ but I understand time/cost) and have tried to use it but all I get is blank boxes with no information. What is the difference between a log key and a widget ID? The log key shows optional. Just trying to display a temp reading, if somebody could show me how to enter the Key or ID it would be much appreciative. I have tried putting in the whole address and just the unique widget info. Is there a manual for HomeWatch?
Thank you

Found the answer to my own question and posting the stuff I found that might help someone else.

You need to enter the unique code exactly and case matters.

I’m including some sites that I found on HomeWatch that help me.

@wizardtech - Glad you got it working.  If you need some more help, then just post on the support group and I'll do my best.

btw my app should work on the iPad if anyone is crazy enough to buy one Wink
