Google Visualization
« on: April 18, 2010, 05:44:31 PM »
Hi all -

Is anyone using Google visualization tools to display data from their IO-204 Monitor & Control Module?  The iobridge modules are a little limited and not as visually appealing as what you can do with google's tools.  Unfortunately I don't have the js chops to do it myself.

Thanks,

Dylan

This would be very useful to chart data from the serial interface board.  If anyone has successfully used Google Visualisation can they post a few clues?  I am not a Javascript programmer so need a bit of startup help.

Here is a post where I've done it in Perl.

I'm getting into Python and will try that next.  The downside is that you have to have the code running on a desktop all the time... I don't think ioBridge has the ability to post for you.

Is this along the lines you're talking about?
