RFID logging
« on: May 07, 2010, 11:09:32 PM »
Hey Jason and Gang. Finally got my Iobridge tinkering time in. Thanks again for making such an easy to use project.
I have hooked up a Parallax RFID reader to and arduino to the serial port and have it logging away. I was wondering if there was a way to display the log in the dashboard like the temp. log.
Or
If I could get some pointers in getting it into a google widget or a mac dashboard widget.

The real-time serial widget will display serial as it's displayed. Create that one under Widgets -> Serial Channel Mode ...

What kind of project are you working on? Sounds like it's super secret.

Actually 2 projects roughly the same. I am logging my RFID door lock to my home office, just out of curiosity. Everyone can get into it with their key-card, so I ma just seeing who and when.
The second is tracking my dog. She does'nt eat regularly so I put a small RFID tag on her collar and mounted the reader under where she stands when she eats and drinks. So I can make sure she is not just eating when I am around.
thanks for the quick response and great product.
