Here's a quick project / how-to for the PowerSwitchTail. The PST is used to control outlets with logic level voltages (5v DC) from a digital output pin. The draw back to the PST is that the current required to fire the relay is 40ma. The project write up shows how to build an adapter circuit using a 10k ohm resistor and a transistor (PN2222) to allow the IO-204 to control the PST. If you get the PST from Adafruit, you will get the extra components to make it work.

When you say "If the button for servo 1 was clicked", is it possible to tie that button to a digital input on the IOBridge? You could then trigger an action off of the digital input.

I have 4 servos that are each hooked to a method written in javascript that will spin the servo and .5 seconds later spin it back. Works like a charm. IObridge was great in helping me get this to work. I want to update twitter whenever a servo moves. Ex: If the button for servo 1 was a clicked, twitter would post "servo one triggered" and so on for each servo. Is this possible? It doesn't look like it is possible to trigger an action based on servo position or movement. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks for clearing that up. Since all my modules got added to the "actions" section I completely forgot about server side actions and never clicked on the normal "Create Action" button. I kept going through the on board rules and got frustrated when it wasn't listing my other modules. I feel dumb know for not figuring it out on my own but maybe someone else will have the same brain fart and find this thread.

Thanks again,
Scott

Yes, create a variable servo widget and get it's ID and drop it in the following URL:

http://www.iobridge.com/widgets/static/id=[widgetID]&value=1500

This will pulse the servo at 1500us.

The server-side actions are what you are looking for.

Click the Actions Tab, then Create Action.

One of the options is "Digital Input to Output Control" - select that and follow the wizard. If the modules are linked to your account, the drop down list should have them listed.

My question was to make sure you didn't have multiple accounts. 4 modules with 4 sign in's.

Is there a way to use the variable servo widgets via your static APIs?

Yes. As stated in my original question, and the title of the post. "I have more than one IOBridge module in my house (all on the same account)."

Are both modules linked to your account?
