The whole "documenting your project" thing is taking longer than I thought.  Here are some teaser pics in the meantime!

So this is a picture of the IOBridge Serial Module to XBEE interface.  Basically, I cobbled this together and really need to fabricate a dedicated design since this is a bit fragile.


Here's an image of the LED Display controller.  Basically a uPic is used to talk to the led drivers (8xMax7219's) through the serial port (in this case an XBEE).  I previously used a Ethernet to serial adapter prior to the discovery of IOBridge.


Here's a picture of the entire display mounted on a 1/4" piece of clear acrylic.


This is an example of the output from the display.  It's a  bit dark because the blue leds are just retardedly bright and jacked with the iPhones light settings.

I have a bunch of green 8x8's laying around, now I might be able to find a use for them.
